AS A YOUNG BOY IN MONTEGO BAY, JAMAICA, CLINTON HAUGHTON, AKA JAMAICAN JOHNNY WAS ALWAYS IN THE KITCHEN, SURROUNDED BY THE INTOXICATING AROMAS AND DELECTABLE FLAVORS THAT BURST FORTH FROM CARIBBEAN CUISINE. AFTER YEARS OF LEARNING TO COOK FROM MULTIPLE GENERATIONS OF WOMEN IN HIS FAMILY HE SET OFF, GETTING A JOB AS A CHEF ON AN INTERNATIONAL CRUISE SHIP. 

AFTER GETTING HIS IMMIGRATION PAPERS IN ORDER JOHNNY LIVED IN MILWAUKEE, WI AND SOME YEARS LATER MOVED TO ATLANTA WHERE HE THOUGHT HE WOULD STAY PUT. BUT IN 2008, IN THE WAKE OF HURRICANE KATRINA, JOHNNY SAW AN OPPORTUNITY IN NEW ORLEANS. "I'VE ALWAYS LOVED NEW ORLEANS BECAUSE IT REMINDED ME OF HOME. THERE IS A REAL CARIBBEAN CULTURE HERE IN NEW ORLEANS AND I THOUGHT WITH ITS RICH CARIBBEAN HISTORY AND CULINARY TRADITIONS I WOULD FIT RIGHT IN". 

AND FIT IN HE DID! AFTER STARTING OUT SELLING FOOD ON THE STREET JOHNNY QUICKLY BECAME A HIT, POPULAR AMONG LOCALS AND TOURISTS ALIKE. HE WAS SO LOVED AND HAD SO MUCH DEMAND THAT HE DECIDED TO INVEST IN A FOOD TRUCK AND THE REST IS HISTORY!
